Court Systems & Lawyers

The Court Systems & Lawyers course is designed to provide high school students with a comprehensive understanding of the legal system, the role of lawyers, and the functioning of courts. Through an engaging and interactive learning experience, students will explore the fundamental principles of law, the structure of the court system, and the diverse roles and responsibilities of legal professionals. They will gain an understanding of the hierarchy and organization of courts, from local municipal courts to state and federal courts, and learn about the specific functions of each level. Additionally, students will examine the processes and procedures involved in a court case, including the roles of judges, attorneys, witnesses, and juries.
